About Kenneth Brotman
Kenneth Brotman has a history of working
to improve the automotive service industry. His main focus is on
helping
improve
customer
experiences at repair facilities and enhancing industry stability.
Mr. Brotman has appeared on air for TV and Radio interviews and
press conferences.
Among his achievements are:
Founding the “Best
Shops of Greater Houston” program
to recognize the best shops and help consumers identify quality
shops in their area.
Founding the
first online discussion group on shop management called “Shoptalk”, which operated in the early to mid
1990’s.
Authored the
automotive service industry’s best draft of
repair and business standards.
Developed
and presented the industry’s premier shop management
seminars.
Mr. Brotman operated a beautiful 14,000 square ft. automotive
facility, AAA approved, with a beautiful showroom, wholesale and
retail parts department and fourteen bay service department.
Prior to his seventeen years of involvement in the automotive industry,
he held positions as a business owner, investment advisor, electrical
engineer and business
executive.
Mr. Brotman has owned and operated many types of businesses including:
retail, service, financial, wholesale, sales distributorships,
engineering, not-for-profit
associations and manufacturing businesses. He has almost thirty years experience
in business.
His education crosses many disciplines from executive level leadership
subjects, core business subjects, and engineering and computer
sciences subjects, to
behavioral sciences and communications, and many, many more. He has worked on a number of other social issues outside the automotive
service industry and is a leading authority at solving complex
social problems.
